Growth of Homeschooling in the Capital Region

The Capital Region is currently seeing the highest number of homeschooling students in its history. The movement initially grew out of issues related to vaccines and the COVID-19 pandemic. However, families decided to continue home-based education because they grew to enjoy the modality.

Among the students following this routine is a third-grade student who takes ninja classes and has been homeschooled since the middle of kindergarten.
