Homeschooling Debate Involves Military Families and Congress

Members of Congress are facing pressure to pass a bill guaranteeing homeschooling freedom for military families. The discussion has gained prominence with statements from National Guard officers and attorneys dedicated to defending this educational model.

Families who practice homeschooling also point out that the model allows for the inclusion of biblical teachings in students' daily learning routines. Furthermore, advocates highlight that students educated at home have shown good performance upon entering college.
